DIAGNOdent Dental Laser

With DIAGNOdent, Dr. Philip V. Goduco can diagnose dental decay before it causes visible damage or discomfort. The innovative laser can measure the level of fluorescence in a healthy tooth. Dr. Goduco will compare your other teeth to this base reading. As he does, he will look for abnormally high levels of fluorescence. DIAGNOdent is quick, non-invasive, very accurate, and helps us provide effective treatment before you experience significant decay.

iTero® Digital Impressions

The iTero® scanner produces digital 3-D images of all of your teeth. This system eliminates the need for messy, uncomfortable impressions. Dr. Goduco can also instantly display the images on an exam room computer to explain your oral health and procedure options. iTero® is particularly helpful during Invisalign® treatment. Dr. Goduco can use the images to design comfortable aligner trays that will effectively straighten your teeth.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays can capture pictures of isolated teeth or your entire jaw. Dr. Goduco can use the x-rays to look for dental misalignment, impacted teeth, cavities, and other concerns. Digital x-rays are much sharper than standard film x-rays. We can also significantly and accurately magnify these images for more exact diagnoses and restorative treatment. In addition, digital imaging exposes patients to only a fraction of the radiation of traditional methods.

Waterlase Dentistry

Waterlase dentistry is one of the most advanced dental treatments available to Dentists today. Waterlase uses a patented technology that combines focused light energy with a stream of water for a highly precise, exceptionally gentle dental experience. Waterlase allows your dentist to perform a wide range of procedures with benefits including:

• Less pain and faster healing time, with less trauma to teeth and gums
• Less usage of anesthetic for most procedures
• Treatment of more than one part of the mouth in one visit, eliminating referrals and specialist visits in many cases.
• Making dental care a more relaxing experience for you!

EZLASE

Available in the 810 nm wavelength or the new 940 nm wavelength, the ezlase™ is designed to deliver the best clinical characteristics of existing diode lasers in one state-of-the-art system.

Its unique ComfortPulse™ settings deliver short, high-power cutting pulses with longer intervals for tissue thermal relaxation, which can provide both efficient cutting and greater patient comfort with less anesthetic.
Imagine the benefit of working without packing cord or using astringents, the ease with which you will be taking impressions, or the simple pleasure of all the ezlase’s features.
Our use of the latest dental technology helps improve patient comfort and helps us treat oral health issues more conservatively.
Dr. Philip V. Goduco uses the latest dental technology. It helps him precisely place dental implants and to allow patients a digital preview of their smile before they proceed with treatment. He also uses nickel titanium tools for root canal therapy because it is flexible and produces better results.
